The Day of Global Youth Evangelism is an annual event led by Dare2Share Ministries and is held on the second Saturday of November. Youth leaders mobilize their students to boldly share their faith together, on the same day, across the globe. This year, Grand View Methodist Church will host our own full-day event.

$15 registration fee covers lunch and dinner for the day.

Schedule:
9:30 am - Pre-party begins (games & music)
10:30 am - Session 1 (live worship, teaching, training)
12:00 pm – Lunch
12:30 pm – Session 2 (live worship, teaching, training)
2:00 pm - Community Outreach (groups dismissed into the community)
4:00 pm – Recap afternoon at Wesley Methodist Church, East Dubuque
4:30 – 6:30pm – Wesley Soup Supper & Outreach Event

Student Code of Conduct

As a participant, I agree that:
I understand that I am attending a church function and will conduct myself in a manner that positively represents me, my church, my family, and Jesus Christ.
I will participate in the program, display a positive attitude, and conduct myself appropriately at all times.
I will respect all students, advisors, and staff.
I will follow instructions from all adults and staff.
I will not use a cell phone during programs and activities.
I will dress appropriately. 
I will not bring highly valuable items with me. If I do bring valuables, I accept full responsibility for those items.
I will not use language or behavior that is obscene, violent, or racially or sexually inappropriate.
I will not possess or use tobacco products, alcohol and/or drugs.
I will not possess or use firearms, weapons, pocket knives and/or firecrackers.
I will not bring skateboards, scooters, or roller blades.
I will respect all property by keeping the facilities clean, not creating graffiti, and not using items such as water balloons, shaving cream, and toilet paper for destructive purposes.
I accept responsibility for damages I cause.
I will act in accordance with my calling as a follower of Jesus Christ and strive to represent the Kingdom of God well in all that I do.

I understand that failure to meet with these standards will result in these steps:
I will call my parents/guardians and report my conduct not in compliance with these guidelines.
At a Pastor or other program leader's discretion, this may result in my parents/guardians arranging transportation home.
I will be billed for damages that I cause.

I also understand that if I fail to follow no-tolerance policies, including but not limited to use of violence or possession of weapons, use of alcohol or drugs, or harassment of another student or staff, then the following steps may be taken:
I will be removed from the facilities.
Law enforcement will be contacted (if applicable).
My parent/guardian will be notified
I may face further suspension from church activities for a period of time.
